World Class Office Break

The concept of office area intermingling with food joints is a very successful model and a win-win situation for both employees and the food joints. However commercial spaces being expensive, cost of operating restaurants are very high and typically only a few restaurants are able to sustain. Imagine if there was a dedicated open area, the size of a football ground, only for restaurants within striking distance of office buildings. Add to that entertainment spots, open amphitheatre with giant screen, sprinklers to beat the summer heat, promotional events and you will get a world class experience.

This is Cyber Hub for you – a one stop shop for some of the most sought after eating places. DLF claims it to be India's first integrated Food-Entertainment destination. It is strategically located within DLF Cyber City in Gurgaon adjacent to Building Nos. 8 and 10 and overlooking the National High 8. The beauty of the conceptual construction is evident from the view along the open passages – at one end is DLF’s iconic Gateway Tower, popularly known/referred to as the ‘ship’ building due to its boat-like shape and at the other end are its cascading circular buildings. Interspersed with ample places between the restaurants, are beautifully designed and well maintained sitting arrangements, where one can simple relax and enjoy the ambience or hang around with friends and colleagues without any interruption. Quick office breaks can become more interesting for the office employees and visitors alike – all one needs to do is simply come down the lift and walk across for a couple of minutes. It need not be restricted to only to offices around the place – the place is quite accessible by the Rapid Metro. One needs to get off at the IndusInd Bank Cyber City station and walk down for about 200 metres though the exit walkway.

You are spoilt for eating options here – from the ‘not so easily available’ cuisines like Parsi food (Soda Bottle Openerwala) to Arabian delights (al zaitoon) to the usual fast food joints like McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Haldiram's and Dunkin’ Donuts. Regional presence is reflected in Oh Calcutta!, Made in Punjab, Vaango and Panchvati Gaurav. The more popular Indian and Chinese stuff are catered to by the Dhaba by Claridges and Canton Spice Co. Italian can be found in Italiano and California Pizza Kitchen. International delights have been brought on the table by Nandos. Another hot favourite from the international platter is the Hard Rock Café. For the wine lover a unique concept has been introduced by The Wine Company, which offers food with the choicest wines at relatively cheaper cost. Beverages joints and cafes mingle well with the restaurants – the most innovative being the most popular – Chai point gets the maximum ‘points’ for this! The other places include Starbucks, DT Café and Rred Hot Café. Angels in my Kitchen (Bakers) and Kulfi complete the circle to give you ample choice of desserts.

The immense popularity of this place can be gauged from its milling crowds at almost at all times of the day. The numbers swells most during the lunch hours with long queues before the more popular ones, notwithstanding the scorching summer sun!
