Breakfast Option in Gurgaon
We keep getting numerous pamphlets on various eating joints each offering the best in town! But rarely does one's expectation match the attractive content or the promised quality. But does that stop us from trying out some of them?
And some of them do meet expectations and some exceed them...like Nashta.
Being bored of the usual Sunday lunch fare, I was pondering what to do on a Sunday morning 2 weeks back. I wasn't particularly hungry then and was glancing through the usual bunch on leaflets which had poured out of our newspaper. The one inserted by Nashta seemed to stand out from the crowd and immediately attracted my attention. The variety on the weekly menu was simply unmatched. I quickly went though the Sunday fare. Although I tried to zero in on one combo, but was quite unsure, so called up the customer care number. The person who received the call tried to help but I was still indecisive. However within a few minutes, I received a call back and this time the lady was able to clearly outline the content of the menu and patiently replied to various options and combinations that were running in mind. Finally after a good 5 minute chat, I was convinced and placed an order for an egg signature sandwich and as part of their popular combo the summer blast juice was added.
The delivery man came in exactly 40 minutes as informed over the call. I was just about feeling a little hungry by then. The first thing that impressed me was the care taken to pack not only the food but also the invoice! Most outlets do not focus on such minute aspects and in the process lose out to a discerning customer. When you are already enticed by the presentation, your expectation increases manifold and hunger can suddenly invade your mind. I quickly opened the box and the sight was quite exciting. I instantly began to dig in and relish the awesome preparation. The juice was very refreshing too! By the time I had completed, I was supercharged for a Super Sunday. The experience was very delightful and savory!
I will surely recommend and advocate your enterprise.
I have a couple of suggestions :
1. Please strengthen your customer contact. I had called up a second time recently but the person who picked up did not have complete clarity and was unable to elaborate. Since I was into something else, I could not speak further and had to hung up.
2. If the amount of minimum order without delivery charge can be reduced, since for a single person the quantity will always be less.
The business of food has become big, and why not! Quite often, it is not just the food which influences your decision on picking a place, it is also the overall experience. Attention to tiny details like providing plastic cutlery along with food ordered in during office lunch hours can lead to customer delight. Also, use of simple and innovative technology to track repeat customer preferences could and should be used. Ultimately, establishments that listen to and address customer feedback will survive in an otherwise largely undifferentiated space.

ReplyDeleteThis is precisely what Nashta did to differentiate itself. No other home delivery service is even aware of the importance of the visual factor in determining recall value...no wonder if their ultimate product i.e. the food item is not high quality, they ultimately fizzle out.
